圍繞金屬、半導體納米材料（團簇）、自組裝薄膜及納米微結構的制備及其分析表征，納米材料在催化、光催化及太陽能電池等方面的應用，石墨烯改性等方向開展研究工作，取得了一些創(chuàng)新的成果。其中新型團簇束流源技術的開發(fā)、團簇束流源技術制備結構可控核/殼結構的納米團簇、納/微米結構的制備及結構分析等研究在國際上具有一定影響力。
