鄭化出生于1965年9月,現(xiàn)為武漢理工大學化學工程系教授(博士生導師)、系副主任、系主任、武漢理工大學化學工程學院院長、湖北省中藥制劑工程技術研究中心主任、武漢理工大學材料研究保護研究所所長。他的研究領域主要為藥用中間體合成與工藝、藥用高分子合成與生物學評價、現(xiàn)代藥物劑型與制劑新技術等,發(fā)表了多篇學術論文。優(yōu)異的成績,使他榮獲湖北省新世紀“百千萬人才工程”人選、湖北省優(yōu)秀研究生指導教師、湖北省高校優(yōu)秀共產(chǎn)黨員等榮譽稱號。

優(yōu)秀事跡

2007年鄭化被評為湖北高校優(yōu)秀共產(chǎn)黨員,優(yōu)秀事跡如下:

鄭化同志依據(jù)學校黨委的《院黨政領導班子工作職責、議事規(guī)則與工作制度》、《關于加強和改進處級領導班子和領導干部作風建設的實施意見》等文件,加強班子建設。領導班子成員團結合作、分工明確、相互尊重、相互協(xié)作,已經(jīng)組成了一個團結、和諧、奮進的領導班子。

在黨風廉政建設中,鄭化深入學習《江澤民論黨風廉政建設和反腐敗斗爭》、《“三個代表”重要思想反腐倡廉理論學習綱要》、《建立健全教育、制度、監(jiān)督并重的懲治和預防腐敗體學院實施綱要》、胡錦濤總書記在中央紀委第五次全會上的重要講話等文件,做到警鐘長鳴,貫徹落實黨中央有關文件精神,學院領導干部中沒有違紀腐敗事件發(fā)生。

鄭化志發(fā)展意識強,認真學習《武漢理工大學學院工作目標責任制考核實施細則》,采取措施狠抓學科建設、教師隊伍建設、教學建設、教學改革、科研工作等,取得了明顯的成效。2002年任化學工程學院院長至今,始終以集體利益為重,克服重重困難,默默奉獻,使學院的整體面貌產(chǎn)生了優(yōu)異的變化。2001年學院科研經(jīng)費為40萬,2005年則達到近400萬,基本上是每年翻一番。2003年獲得了2個碩士點,實現(xiàn)了學院碩士點零的突破,2005年達到了8個碩士點及1個工程碩士點,使學院學科建設發(fā)生了質(zhì)的飛躍。2001年學院教授4人,副教授10人,博士3人,2005年有教授11人,占現(xiàn)任教師比例的29.7%,副教授9人,占現(xiàn)任教師比例的24.3%;教授、副教授共計占現(xiàn)任教師比例的54%;博士學位教師24人,占現(xiàn)任教師比例的65%,在學校已居前列,學院內(nèi)部已經(jīng)形成了一支高學歷、高水平、結構合理、層次適當?shù)囊灾星嗄杲處煘楣歉傻膶W術隊伍。深入調(diào)研,努力把握新形勢、新變化,詳細制訂了《化學工程學院2006-2010年學科建設與發(fā)展規(guī)劃》;全力響應學校領導布置,積極參與組織“國家工科化學 基地及化學化工學科十一五發(fā)展規(guī)劃”系列研討會,與理學院協(xié)力合作,共同完成《武漢理工大學“十一五”化學化工學科建設規(guī)劃》的撰寫工作,得到來訪的金涌院士的好評。

鄭化同志一貫兢兢業(yè)業(yè),腳踏實地,工作勤奮,清正廉潔,2002年被評為校級標兵。2005年招收、指導博士、碩士人數(shù)共計博士1人、碩士8人。畢業(yè)博士、碩士研究生人數(shù)共計18人。指導研究生工作評價為優(yōu)秀。

鄭化同志主持和參與2項國家自然科學基金、4項浙江省重大科技攻關項目、4項湖北省科技攻關項目和10余項企業(yè)委托項目的研究,公開發(fā)表學術論文40余篇,其中SCI、EI收錄20余篇,獲授權發(fā)明專利3項。
